Belated Happy New Year!

I realise that it has been quite a while since you last heard from me.

2022 was a weird year for me. It started out full of promise with lots of exciting travel planned and I was ready to become a full-time digital nomad. However circumstances changed and I spent most of the year in the Borders of Scotland caring for my parents.

My head was so full of ensuring my parents were okay that my creativity and writing nosedived and I hardly wrote any posts during the year.

The Blog and Travel in 2022

Despite my carer role, I did mange a few trips in 2022, so I have plenty of writing to catch up with.

Look out for posts about my trip to Sri Lanka, visiting Tuscany in Italy, exploring the Czech Republic, a long weekend Mallorca, my amazing rail trip around Historic Thermal Towns in Europe, how Madagascar nearly broke me and my last trip which was to Botswana.

Discovering the Culture & Women of Morocco February 2023

My first trip of the 2023 is in conjunction with Hafsa Gaher from Archer Gaher Adventures. We are taking a group of women on an 8-day tour of Morocco.

The trip starts in Casablanca and wends it way down to Marrakech via Rabat, the blue city of Chefchaouen, Fez and over the Atlas Mountains. Along the way we will be immersing ourselves in the local culture and celebrating the women who live there.
